The WSU Faculty Association has established the Winona State Faculty Promise Scholarship to represent the faculty’s commitment to our students. This scholarship will bolster our Admissions office’s efforts to boost enrollment. The Faculty Association is pleased to donate $10,000 with an additional $5,000 available to match the first $5,000 of individual donations to this fund.

Why are donations necessary?
Our goal is create a fully endowed scholarship fund. Once the fund reaches $30,000, it will be endowed in perpetuity, providing an annual scholarship of $1,000 to an incoming student (the award will be renewable for the student up to 3 years if they maintain successful academic standing). Faculty, retirees, and others can contribute to the scholarship with one-time donations, payroll deductions, or legacy gifts. When the fund grows to more than $30,000, even more scholarships can be provided to more students.
